Commerce Park is being sued by Trinity for help in the clean up of its former plant. Commerce Park bought the north plant in 2004 planning to transform the plant for multi-tenant use. In 2006, Trinity was charged by the state Attorney General’s office for illegally dumping waste at the site. Trinity was ordered to clean up and pay a fine of $254,502 and contribute $50,000 to nonprofit organizations. Trinity claims that Commerce Park is also responsible for releasing asbestos by destroying the buildings on the property. William E. Marsteller was the defendant of which Trinity claimed had affairs that have been intertwined with Commerce Park. Go to the website at the top of the page to find out more.
